From Cold to Hope

Drink of the day: Chai Latte with soy milk.
New accessory: a butterfly ring...silver
New hair sparkle: A Pink flower (orchid)
Song of the season: Baby I don't want to waste another day - Brooke Fraser
Book of the week: The Seven Mountain Prophecy

I've been thinking on the things I love, how do I want to spend my time. Listening to calm music, mainly jazz.
I've com to undertand the beauty in the calm spirit, in the calm voices, in the soft instruments combining together in amazing beauty... enduring the moment

Today I saw lost of dogs and babies, seems that people want to go out with their loved ones, their little ones. I wanted to take my dogs out myself, but I felt the need to sit down, just so that I could keep be finding myself.

Here it comes...
"Even if means infinity through..I don't want to waste another day"..."I could stay in your arms all those years.."
The lyrics of my heart today.

The climate changes, the weather is on my side. This is the kind of weather I like...I find beauty and joy. I believe since I was in my mums womb during spring and summer ...I am the kind of person who can easily find herself in the calm things, in the sun, in nature, in the smiles and laughters...in dreaming...and believing in true beauty that comes from the inside out.
I'm happy because I'm changing....time to fly...to open up...to reach...to believe.

Hey! It's time to get back up again!!!

Inner place, inner thoughts, home

>Trusting the voice within<

Sometimes our voice can guide us to marvelous places, to do things we've never imagined. To meet people, to talk to people we would never talk to, to say things we never thought we could say. To take chances, to endeavor a dream.

If we did't take this chances, we would never move forward, our voice leads us to good places, and sometimes to situation we have to learn from.

The voice within wan also tell you when someone has not your best interest in hand. Listen to that voice.
LISTEN...and act!!! It's of wise men and women to see danger and hide.

I've missed sitting down and starting to write what I feel, it's a refreshing feeling to let your thoughts free and think on what makes you the person you are, and the one you want to be.

Today the climate was lovely, the sun came out, the wind was perfect, and the time was just right. So I run to the place I call "my second home" and started to write...with a latte ;)...this time no coffee for me, just a mix I made up...when I told the cashier...she said .."what?"...and after a few seconds...voila! a wonderful drink came out.
It's my invention...and I want to share it with you. It's a Vanilla Latte with Algarrobina, and soy milk. Yuuum.

Interesting...just found out that Algarrobina comes from the tree Algarrobo (Carob). Among it's benefits...
Is a good source of fiber, it benefits the intestinal flora, it's a good natural antioxidant. It also
helps reduce the irritation of mucous membranes in both respiratory and digestive systems.

Advise...Find moments where you can delight on and find peace despite this fast world we live in.

"Sometimes life is all about looking for inspiration..in order to move on, to regain your strength, to get focused in the important things, and to take away what pulls you back." - LA Meli

Inner thoughts...

Love season
Shouting out to the universe!!! someone who understands my words! my lyrics, the lyrics of my days and the music of my nights...who can walk like a harmony to the beat of my heart and hold me strong as a melody...one who is not afraid to look at the sun after they have touched the darkness...someone who can shout to the universe for guidance!!!

Looking past the cover

I love fashion and to dress up everyday! However, I am the kind of person who looks past what is on the cover. So here is something I have in my heart...

Looks, what is a look? Could it be an expression of you inner being? Is it giving a statement? Telling something? Trying to cause an effect on others?? Do you notice people reflect more in their eyes and their mouth (smile or lack of) what they are feeling at the moment, or been feeling for the past years.
Try to see what people are saying, not just when they speak, but what their whole body is telling, and see if you can impact, move and make a difference in their lives in a good way, to build their lives, not to destroy. That way you'll be making a difference in life.

The Outfit...
The glasses I bought in a local market in Buenos Aires.
The jeans are Zara, from a long time ago. They tend to keep breaking, which makes them ever more fun to wear.
The scarf which I love is from La Florida street in Buenos Aires.
The t-shirt was bought at Walmart in Miami.

Sharing Heritage and Music

Two guitars, two laptops, some speakers, and two people.

It's how my brother and I started to jam to music, listened to live concerts, made comments, shared our greatest passion, MUSIC. We talked about our musical influences, the bands our parents used to listen, so consequently we grew up listening.

Chicago; Earth, Wind and Fire; Mariah Carey (Fantasy); Phil Collins; Barbara Streisand (Extra Extra); Gino Vanelli; Earl Klug; James Taylor; Kenny Logins (For the Fist Time); Diana Ross; Kat Steves; Lionel Richie, Air Supply, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson (Heal the World); Cat Stevens; Carol king; Tracy Chapman (Fast Car); America; among others.

Over the years we've developed our musical "ear" and have learned from different musical genres and make us in a way, the people we are now. The funny thing is that, no matter if we listen to different kind of music, I go to his room and find him, grooving to some of the bands I listen to!

He showed me some image of life he has for his future and it included being close to a band playing a fusion between ballad, soul and jazz. I was amazed, since these passed years I found my love for Jazz singer and band, and play their music in different venues and events.

It's funny how my grandma once told me she would hide in her house to listen to Jazz songs, since she was supposed to listed to classical music Beethoven, Mozart, and others.  And now we are free to listen to any kind of genre, and my brother and I have jazz inside of us...genetically transmitted through our grandma. Love you Nani! She is my inspiration in many ways!

Here are some songs my brother shared with me.... I simple love the beauty on the delicate music, and the greatness that the instruments add to simply amazing melodies.

Notice How the music fills the place...This man started with a guitar and percussions, and was taken and put in a concert, with a amazing crowd, incredible orchestra...and he delivers!!! Born to be music!

This second is Reality, can you relate?

Next time I get the chance, I'll do it again, share music, listen to good melodies, that speak to me and my friends, that touches me deeply.

Serenity

A clasic phrase says “is this love?”, love, how could someone define love? How to explain in simple words, not using a medical, chemical, organic point of view? Maybe something tangible, but somehow abstrac. How to recognize it?

When you meet someone for the first time, you look at each other, your eyes open to absorb in a way what your eyes recognize as something that impacts you. Let’s say in an airport, a total stranger, would you believe in true love at first sight? You see green eyes, an elegant figure, that motivaste you, a mysterious person, but astonishing, is it love?

This are the kind of toughts and experiences that inspire me to wright songs.

These days at Buenos Aires have been different, filled with adventure, nervrequin feelings and enthusiasm to take with arms wide open a city that welcomes you in the same maner, but this time, alone, with no apparent cause.

I found myself beeing doubtfull, but moments later I feld a relief, a serenity, in all the environment, in the music ont he streets, in the voices of the wind, on what the road spoke to me, in the looks of the people. I found serenity and I had time to meditate in what made me unease, and then I found PEACE, which I longed for.

I Remember…Some “empanadas” shared with my grandmothers friend, so dearly she appologized for not being apropriatetly dressed for the occasion, but she did notice that with every story told, every smile, the glances, and her, sitting in front of me....inspiration, filled my heart with youth, experience, stories of pased days, which she lived with my grandma, which will stay with me.

Cherished: Moments alone playing my guitar on the parks, songs which spoke to me about moving ahead.

Discovered: Good friends and wonderfull people….oh yeah…and Dulce de Leche Frapruccino!

My quote today ¨Enjoying life...is enjoying music, friends, family, the moments that make you feel..."
