Baby Blue and Green Flowers

Today I'm super exited! It is my best friend's  Baby shower!!!

I've been preparing for weeks with friends and her family...planing...scheduling...etc.
I forgot how much I love doing projects! especially the ones that involve handcrafts!
It's one of my passion...
....

When I was a little girl I remember that on summer vacations I would do a project, which sometimes ended up into a business. like selling hand make jewelry...which gave me enough money y to buy my first car!

Other times I would paint ...once I even painted a window which leaded to a field of butterflies...all drawn and painted in my bedroom's wall.

.....

Back at the Baby shower....The weeks passed and the number of people started to grow. At first my idea was some friend and family...then suddenly....a Facebook event was created and lots of women were attending to the event....which by the way...was in my house!!

I spend almost every evening doing the decorations, while watching some tv.

These were the decorations I came with...

A day before the event, I bought flowers and did this cute "stations" where I placed a flower bouquet, a candle and another ornament.

The flower bouquets were very easy to make.

1. Select the flowers you like...I found these lovely ones in my local market

This flowers look like daisies and roses.
I really love the combination of the green flowers with the tiny white and caramel ones.

2. Use glass jars and vases from marmalades, milk, salt, pepper, nutella, olive oil, etc.

3. Cut the flowers depending the size on the jar and arrange them in a stylish way.

4. The final touch...tie a string around the upper side of the jar.

5. A cute way to arrange them is to place different sizes of bouquets together.

When the day finally came, I was super exited! My friends family came early and started with the food decorations which look perfectly with my decorations. So this is what the shower looked like:

Photographs of the lovely couple! Hanging on a string!

Lots of love made this possible...
